PBL is a Critical
Thinking Lab Critical Thinking
labs, where possible solutions to a real-world problem are evaluated
over 8 weeks, are required courses for all students, in addition to
their regular academic classes.
Working in small groups, students work to creatively solve complex problems applying
information from regular classes, from library or internet research, and from their own
experiments and observations.
Traditional learning objectives are integrated with experiential and problem based
learning approaches.
Greenway students then apply these approaches in content-rich simulations of real life
problems.
Middle schoolers learn to analyze a complex problem, to research it extensively, and to
develop creative solutions which they present to the rest of the school.
